Amazon.com Review
This Porter-Cable 18-gauge, 2-inch brad nailer is a compact, comfortable-to-carry unit that might not offer quite as many extras as other (more expensive) units, but it's very reliable and does its job well. This nailer shoots standard brads from 3/4 to 2 inches long and has an anodized magazine with a reload indicator. The die-cast aluminum body is lightweight but still very strong, and the handle is comfortable to hold, even over long periods of time. The quick-release nosepiece lets you clear jams quickly and easily. Other features include a sequential fire trigger, a safety that's located behind the driver guide for driving brads in tight spaces, an easy-to-adjust depth guide, a directional exhaust port, and a removable rubber nose. The kit comes with a 1/4-inch male coupler with dust cover, a rugged plastic carrying case, oil, and 1,000 brads. --Jonathon Tudor

Product Review Summary: 4 years, never a jam I have had this brad nailer for 4 years, never had a jam or a reason to complain. You will be amazed how handy these things are. You may think it a "luxury" to not hand nail, not true. I just replaced all the soffits and fascia boards on my home, would have been impossible for me to do it alone without this nailer. If you are holding something in place with one hand, no way you are going to be able to hand nail. And once in place with the brad nails, you can go back and use wood screws, for heavy duty projects.
A nice feature on this model is that air exhaust is adjustable, so you can aim it away from your face. Make sure you place a drop of oil or two in the air intake of the gun EVERY time you use it. VERY important. I think the one review that mentioned day one issues was a result of not oiling the gun.
4 years and this gun is still does not jam and always nails flush. You treat it right, and it will treat you right, store in case in dry room, and oil it every use.
Product Review Summary: i like it this is the first nail gun i've owned so i don't have much basis for comparison. however, it has worked great for me for installing crown moulding and other trim work. i've only had it jam once. i would buy this one again
Product Review Summary: Trusted You can trust Porter cable products. I am a contractor and 90 percent of my tools are porter cable
Product Review Summary: PC BN200A Awesome nailer. The improvements to this model from the earlier version are great. Smoother operation, handles well, rapid firing, plastic tip to protect wood is a great addition.
Product Review Summary: Excellant tool for molding work I was previously using a hammer & nails to do molding replacement. Silly me, I borrowed my neighbors compressor ( which you will need to go along with the nailer) & changed my life!!! This is a quality tool. It does a neat, quick job. I also used it to put together wood wine racks. No more hammer marks on the freshly painted trim, no more split marks in the wood.
