Product Description

When using your TV or computer, there's nothing more frustrating than encountering poor reception. Now there's a fast and effortless way to make your signal strength up to 32 times more powerful! The Motorola Signal Booster enhances analog and digital picture quality, improves cable modem communication, and reduces lost data. It's easy to install and tools are not required. This device also allows you to optimize multiple broadband devices in your home - televisions, cable set-top boxes, cable modems, VCRs, and digital radios - all from one convenient cable. Clearly, the Motorola Signal Booster is a strong alternative to weak signal quality.

Users Product Reviews:

Product Review Summary: Motorola Signal Booster

Am using the device to boost my off-air amplified Terk directional outdoor antenna for local HDTV signals from broadcast towers about 40 "as the crow flies" miles away (Saratoga to the Albany hilltowns). It increased strength by well over 50% for all channels, including the reciprocal heading broadcast towers in Vermont nearly 70 miles away. I still needed the Terk power injector - who knows, I could shorting out the whole mess? I added a splitter to send the signal to a second TV and 80' of coax. Technically, I probably should have gotten the dual output version of this device but its advertised "boost" is about 1/2 per TV so why bother? I now receive about 32 channels on both TV's (with duplications of some programming), depending upon the weather or time of day - cold and snow reduce signal strength from the sources. We are thinking of shutting off satellite TV since we get all of the networks (Fox, ABC, NBC,CBS) in HD, local PBS and Vermont PBS channels, plus numerous subchannels (local weather, This and Retro networks). Amazing quality and all free.

Product Review Summary: Excellent Signal!

We have a long run from the cable entry to the house, about 300ft. The picture quality has always been bad, but we lived with it since the cable company says it's our problem.

Recently we bought a 32" and a 50" flat screen TV and we need to improve the signal.
I was looking and came across this product and decided to give it a try. Excellent picture quality and sound, we can see all channels now and the kids are thrilled.

However we ordered 2 of this and 1 was not working right out of the box, I filed a claim today and we'll see how it turns out.

Product Review Summary: Totally Solved my Problems

First off, I've purchased in the past signal boosters which claim somehow to increase signal strength that don't plug into an electrical outlet, so although I was pretty sure this was powered, the three coax links in the photo, without the plug pictured, led me to wonder. But, I was pretty sure there this was what I was looking for, so I purchased it.

So, here was my problem. My digital cable comes into the wall of my living-room, and although the television in there received the signal just fine, the line had to be run across the apartment, split at the bedroom, and run further to the office (all around the curves of the walls). At the office in the back, the signal, especially the HD ones, were incredibly weak - to the point where almost all of my HD channels were unwatchable.

After connecting this booster, the difference was incredible. I connected this after the split from the wall to the living room, before the bedroom - and this wasn't just a small improvement, it was a total improvement. All problems completely solved - every channel now available in perfect clarity. I am fairly confidant that had I needed to run this cable three times the length I did, it wouldn't make a difference - this would keep the picture clear as day.

For the price, this device cannot be beat. If you're experiencing loss of signal quality after a long run coax cable line, look no further.

Product Review Summary: Great boost for indoor antenna!

I originally bought this to aid my old $8 rabbit ears. I wasn't very happy with the results. Thinking the rabbit ears might have been defective, I bought a new antenna, which works great by itself. (Phillips SDV2710/27) But with this signal enchancer I am now getting all local channels and also channels from the city 60 miles away. I am now a happy camper! :D (The TV is a Samsung Digital HD TV.)

Product Review Summary: Motorola Signal Booster Review

I had purchased one of these amplifiers to use with my indoor antenna for use with digital TV, and the thing didn't seem to amplify. As a matter of fact, no signal seemed to be presented at the output of the amplifier. I brought the amplifier to work and tested it with our equipment, and found the unit to be defective.
I filled out the appropriate web form at Amazon, and they provided me with an amp the next day!
The new amp works flawlessly with my simple UHF loop antenna. I'm about 9 miles from the city of Chicago, and I have no problems receiving all the local channels with an indoor antenna thanks to my Motorola amplifier.
I'd highly recommend this product.
