Users Product Reviews:

Product Review Summary: Fairly Pleased

I have purchased three of these over the last couple years and may be getting another today. I have found that the cable gets worn out in time. Works great in the beginning and my listeners have been satisfied yet as time goes on and I use it more it eventually becomes sensitive in the cable. I have an older one that I can't move when using it and have to be sure the cable is not dangling or my listener will hear me cutting out. I keep purchasing it because I have yet to find on that is nice and light like this one and easy slip over the ear.

Product Review Summary: Do not bother

The earpiece was very flimsy, and did not stay on your ear very well. It always felt like it was about to fall off. I returned it for a headset that had the clamp on top of your head.

Product Review Summary: Inexpensive, good performance

I have been very pleased with this durable, adjustable and comparatively-comfortable headset for my cell phone. It's not perfect, but can't be beat for the <$20 price. Some drawbacks: the thin foam ear cushion falls off after awhile and easily gets lost. However, as I kept throwing this in and out of my briefcase, I got used to having the bare plastic next to my ear. Alternately, a dab of glue will keep the foam pad from falling off. The sound level is only OK; in a noisy car environment, the phone's volume has to be pumped up (check your phone manual). The headset has no amplifier (at this low price, how could it?) so the volume depends on the phone's output. The cord has a built-in mute button and volume control in case the sound gets too loud. You can remove the tie-clip if unneeded. Earpeice and microphone clarity and sound quality are fine. The headset is adjustable for the right or left ear, and the clip which goes over and behind the ear is somewhat flexible -- the user can bend to a comfortable shape. Over the past 3 years, I've bought 4 so far -- as gifts and as a spare for myself. It's tough and durable -- a solid purchase.

Product Review Summary: Nice design, bad reception

I liked the look of this to replace my well-worn Jensen JTH940 headset. The cushioned earpiece looked comfortable enough. However, it's tough to hook the plastic ring around either ear and secure it. Once I get it on, the headset tends to hang or swings back and forth if I shake my head lightly. So if you don't move you'll be fine. The people on the other line sound very far away, and they can't understand what I'm saying on my end. I tried this both on a cordless AT&T home phone and my cell phone with the same results. It's possible it could work well with other brands but I'm returning this one.

Product Review Summary: Good design, poor volume

Bought this after my Plantronics headset broke (that had volume problems also anyway). With this headset, the person can hardly hear you and you must keep repeating yourself no matter how close your mouth is to the headset (unless its touching of course). By the way, I used it with a Panasonic phone and it was a recommended headset on Panasonic's website. Waste of money.
