Product Review Summary: no frills great deal I got 2 of these the middle of Feb., one for my Toshiba PC and one for my non airport equipped Mac Pismo laptop.
PC: Upon plugging it in and trying to use it's software. I removed it and let Microsoft do the work and it has worked just fine in my PC laptop.
Upon plugging it in my Mac and firing it up it was both recognized as a external device and as an internal wireless modem. It thinks it is an airport card and fires up just like my airport card does in my other Pismo but at "G" speeds.
Shipping was fast and well packaged and the price was great too.
Product Review Summary: worked like a charm This product worked like a charm it suits my needs perfectly. It was a simple install and no hassle ever since. It made my older Mac wireless YeeHaw
Product Review Summary: Works great w/ Powerbook Works great with my 15" 1.25 GHz aluminum Powerbook. No installation drivers or software needed!
Product Review Summary: Better than Netgear I first purchased a Netgear router and pmcia card and , after endless frustration trying to get it to work I finally sent it back and ordered the Motorola router and card. The latter was relatively easy to install with the clear instructions that came with it and I have had no problems since.
Product Review Summary: Excellent Adapter Plug it in, run the software, let Moto manage the connection and you are good to go. Best card I have ever owned. I had one that was dropped with the laptop. The card was obviously broken and it still worked! I replaced the card because it would not get a strong signal, but I was amazed that the card still connected to the network even after it was broken.
