Product Review Summary: Buyer beware! Bought this card to use in a desktop computer that used to be connected via ethernet. I could not get the card to work on Windows XP. I was told by the Linksys rep that the card was defective and to send it back (at my expense) for a warranty replacement, which I did. By the way, their policy is that if they don't receive the original card back within 20 days, they will bill you full retail price for the card. If they receive the card after they have billed you, they will NOT refund your money; only ship the defective card back to you at your expense. I received my replacement card yesterday, and it too fails to connect to the internet. I called Linksys tech support AGAIN (fourth call) and was told that there is no point in troubleshooting the card since it is having "the same problem" as the other card, and that I need to pay $30 (more than I paid for the card) to troubleshoot my Linksys router -- which is working just fine, thank you, with any card but Linksys. When I insisted that she at least make an effort to troubleshoot this card, she instructed me to unseat and reseat the card. At that point, I gave up. I have done multiple internet searches on this problem, and learned that the people who have solved this problem to their satisfaction did so by returning this card and buying one from a competent manufacturer, which is what I plan to do. GRRR!!!
Product Review Summary: Disappointed Monitoring software that comes with causes 2 access violations at pc start.
Could not load drivers from setup or windows hardware install or manually. Absolutly refused to load driver, said it couldn't find driver even when I highlighted driver in folder. Downloaded newer driver from Linksys and it did the same thing. This was in Win2000 with Intel 865 MB. Others had same trouble, though some were able to load in Win2000.
Pulled it out and ordered a different card, waiting for delivery.

Why Settle for anything less (all other brands)
Anyone else probably thinks just because he or she installed a hard drive one time they think they are a computer tech. But have no business writing reviews based on one installation.
Product Review Summary: Don't Product never worked. Crashed the computer over and over.
