The Wireless-G Broadband Router with SpeedBooster is really three devices in one box. First, theres the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect Wireless-G, Wireless-B, and other performance-enhanced SpeedBooster devices to the network. Theres also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together. Finally, the Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection. The Wireless-G Broadband Router with SpeedBooster incorporates the next generation of Wireless-G (802.11g) networking. SpeedBooster technology is a compatible add-on to standard Wireless-G, which increases real-world wireless network performance by up to 35. Unlike other speed-enhancing technologies, SpeedBooster is fully 802.11 compliant, and a good neighbor to other wireless devices and technologies, using a single 2.4GHz channel as specified by the official wireless standard. And, unlike other technologies, with SpeedBooster youll see an overall speed improvement even when running a mixed network of SpeedBooster and regular Wireless-G devices.

Product Review Summary: Finally Full Bars! After half a year of getting 2/5 signal bars from my old wireless router (even being in the same room!) I purchased this one. It was very easy to install (didn't even need the CD) and my laptop immediately picked up the signal. So happy to have a secure wireless network with full bars! At last!

I had a terrible experience with this product:
-I bought it from Amazon.com, installed and after 2 days of usage, the product was dead. Frozen, not working at all and even without the power cord, the product was blinking.
-I contacted the customer service and they treat you like someone withou brain, asking you very basic questions and following a protocol that will not address your issue in less than an hour of questions
-Everytime I had to contact them I have to went through all the questions again.
-I have to pay $30 dollars to receive a new router next day, otherwise they will not going to charge you, but you will receive the product within 14days (which was not an option for me)
-The new router wroks fine for exactly two days and then I have to reset the product. I tried everything and they do not know the problem. They said that they already changed my router and they will not change it again.
-Bottom line: they not care about the customer, they not have a good product, and it is very expensive.

After that, Linksys changed another router for me. The seller did not help me anything in fixing the problem and change the product. It's was bad.
Product Review Summary: Do Not Purchase I made the mistake of purchasing this product just over a year ago. It sits safely on my desk, out of harms way. Last night, the router mysteriously stopped working. Thinking it was me, I followed the "help" directions and got nowhere. My next step was Linksys customer service. The first representative suggested that I purchase another router, and made suggestions. Purchase another router?! After 9 representatives, supervisors, and managers, I was told that the product is only guaranteed to last about 10 mths. which essentially means buying a wireless router once per year. There is no standing behind their product, it's 10 mths. and done. NO THANK YOU.
Product Review Summary: The price has to be a typo I've owned this router for almost two years now. Haven't had any problems with it. Setup is easy via the webpage. Funny thing is I had problems with the Secure Easy Setup feature. Couldn't get the thing to work. Go figure. Anyway, I bought this thing from Circuit City (way before they went belly up, for almost $80.00 out the door. Amazon is charging $179??? What up with that? Is the circuit board gold plated now. This is a nice router, but now way is it worth $179. It isn't even wireless N or do MIMO.
