Product Description

The Best Choice for High-end Digital Devices! To save every precious, valuable and romantic moment, you may purchase high resolution digital camera, digital camcorder, or other high-end devices. However, normal Secure Digital Cards (SD Cards) on the market today may not let you capture these moments because of slow read/write speed. Slow read/write speed may cause lag time between shots and result in missing the opportunity to record some of your finest memories. This A-DATA Turbo SDHC Memory Card (Class 6), rated a Class 6 performance card which means the card has a guaranteed write speed of at least 6MB/s, will reduce time between shots. For those high-end digital devices users, A-DATA Turbo SDHC Memory Card (Class 6) will ensure you capture every “picture-perfect” moment!

Product Review Summary: Stay Away from this monster - Does not format

Yes - I do have a SDHC aware device. I tried copying a 4 GB iso to the 16GB Adata Flash after taking it out of the packaging to test the transfer speed.

After sometime Windows threw up an error which read something like delayed write failed.

After that I tried format it at least 20 times and in each case - I got an error that the Flash was write protected although the Write Protect lock was not set.

Keep away from this device like plague.

Product Review Summary: Video Amateur

I bought A-DATA 16 GB SDHC Class 6 flash memeory last month and used it on Panasonic ZS3 camera. Both still photo and video caputures are fine. I am happy with the product so far. It is a cheaper product than other brands.

I am able to download the photos and videos from the camera to laptop via USB port. My laptop has a memory card reader but I cannot read this memory card directly to pc for some reason. I haven't tried other memory cards either; therefore, I don't know if it is my laptop's card reader limitation or not. My laptop is 2 years old.

Any how, I can transfer the data from the memory card to pc via USB port serves my purpose. For the price $ 30.00 I paid, it is a great value for the money.

Product Review Summary: Bricked after a month

I went against my better judgment and the majority of previous reviews when this card was offered as a Gold Box Deal, and I've been rewarded with a $70 brick only six weeks in. As many other reviews have stated, a memory product that is unreliable is completely useless. I was using the card mainly as secondary storage on a netbook. Fortunately, I didn't lose any data that wasn't backed up when this thing died. The worst part about the way it died was that it was completely unforeseen and gave no indication of flaky performance prior to simply being unable to mount on any of the machines I own (using a variety of card readers).

The application I was using the card for was not unduly intensive on reads nor writes. It probably would have received even more cycles if it was being used as a memory card in a camera. Unfortunately, the product decided not to die until after the Amazon return window, so I basically spent $70 for a product that lasted 40 days. Great deal! I'll never buy from adata again.

Product Review Summary: Died within 3 times of usage

Used it in my new laptop. Worked fine the first day, copied foto's on it.
After 3 days it had to be reformatted, not recognised anymore. Windows 7 recognised it as a 7GB card ??
Format didn't work, also tried in ms-dos, completely dead. Will send it back for a refund. Bad quality.

Product Review Summary: A-Data unreliable

I had nothing but trouble with this card. I tried to use it in a Panasonic camera and in 3 different laptop/desktops and kept getting errors and system freezes. I reformatted it 4 times but continued to loose data and encounter errors. When it did work it was acceptably fast, but not nearly as fast as my Transcend 16gb card. Amazon graciously took the card back. Yeah Amazon, boo A-Data.
