Product Review Summary: Not so mini, but good I bought this because my boyfriend and I both have iPhones and we are often selfish over the usb plug on the bedside table. Two ports was exactly what we needed. It was kind of a bonus to me to get the surge protector, which definitely works (although we don't have anything like a television plugged in). Generally we use this for the lamp, our iphones, and occaisionally a lap. It's not terribly small and doesn't allow you to use the other outlet if you are using the USB ports. I kind of figured this though, and accept that in the end I have more outlet which are protected than I started out with.
Product Review Summary: Handy device, but not perfect USB ports work well for charging an iphone and blue tooth ear piece, however the AC ports are rotated in such a way that many AC adapters will block one or more of the AC ports. Good device if you don't plan to plug more than one "wall wart" style adapter into it.
Product Review Summary: Products Look Identical For those of you who might be confused between this product and, what looks like an identical product, Belkin Mini Surge Protector Dual USB Charger, there IS NO DIFFERENCE (except the price). These products are identical. I called Belkin to find out and the only difference is the packaging. Very weird and bad customer service by both Amazon and Belkin not to identify any differences.
Product Review Summary: Great Surge Protector, Small but not "Mini" As other reviewers have stated, this isn't exactly "mini," size but it is small and I've traveled with it in tow. Another great Belkin product, this works as promised.
