The DECT1560-3 cordless phone by Uniden is packed with time-saving features that help you better manage your calls. It features a large display screen and orange backlit keys which make it a snap to dial the correct number or access features, even in low-light conditions. The phonebook feature stores up to 70 names with an alphabetical search, unique ringers you can assign to specific calling parties and an option to transfer either a single listing or the entire phonebook. The bilingual menus in both English and Spanish guide you through every step so you can take full advantage of the 10 full hours of talk time per battery charge. The DECT1560-3 includes two extra handsets and chargers/cradles. About DECT Technology: Advanced DECT 6.0 technology, or Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications, operates on the newly released 1.9 GHz frequency band that was recently allocated to support cordless telephony. Uniden DECT 6.0 incorporates unique "listen before transmit" technology that avoids interference with many household products, such as baby monitors, microwaves and WiFi (which operate on frequencies like 2.4 GHz). As a result, DECT phones offer consumers enhanced voice clarity and crystal clear digital sound quality. DECT 6.0 technology also offers higher security and voice protection, as well as a longer battery and battery standby life than existing 2.4 GHZ or 5.8 GHz phones.

Product Review Summary: like the phones Have had Uniden phones for many years. My old ones died, so I bought this set. Like it just fine. Sound quality is good, as with features.
Product Review Summary: Great set of phones Great set of phones for the price. Needed more phones and needed them all to work from one phone jack. Didn't need another answering machine. This set of phones fit the bill perfectly. Great reception, good amount of features (not all the features of a more expensive phone but they're useful and easy to navigate), easy to set up and use. Speaker phone sound quality could be better, but it does it's job. Bought direct from Amazon and had no problems with the shipment or the product. Overall, very satisfied with purchase.
Product Review Summary: Satisfaction I am very satisfied with these phones. My only comment is the backs should be a color as they look a lot like a remote when laying on the counter. Having the back be a color would allow you to locate them quickly.
Product Review Summary: Low profile design is great I love the design of this phone. It's a far cry from Jerry Seinfeld's poprtable with 8 foot antenna. This doesn't even have an external antenna. It does not seem to compromise range at all. It's just as good as my old phone that did have an external antenna.
The expansion phone bases are also really nice in that they have a very small footprint.
The price is right on this phone.
Product Review Summary: Buyer Beware Despite a history of excellent experience with Uniden phones, this was poor quality right out of the package. It felt inexpensive and proved to be just that despite the price. It worked for about six hours. Now, after not even using the phones, two of the chargers (including the base) have no function. We have interchanged the AC adapters with no success. All three phones have now charged using one charger. It does no good since the base unit is not functioning. Uniden's customer service has, thus far, not responded. Our next call is to Amazon to return the product.
