Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me.

My set up -

PC with win2000 pro connected to broadband (I have a Linksys wireless USB network adapter set up with this machine).

Laptop with WinXP (with a D link wireless USB adapter).

What I want, is to use the PC as the host to connect to broadband, and then I want to connect the laptop to broadband via the PC... Sharing the connection.

So far... I have the network adapters set up, and the laptop adapter finds the pc adapter no problem. But that's as far as I've got.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to set up ICS. On my win2000 PC there are several icons in the 'Network and Dial up connections' folder (ATM, ATM ELAN, BLUETOOTH, FREESERVE BROADBAND, LOCAL AREA CONNECTION). I've tried clicking 'enable internet sharing' in several of these... I've no idea which one I was supposed to be using!

And on the XP Laptop, I've tried configuring the IE tools thingy to use the network instead of dialing.

So... you can see I'm probably screwing the whole thing up more and more each time I try to get this working. I am going to lose my mind (what small amount I have) very soon.

Please help.... pleeeeeaase!!!

Thanks for reading anyway... I hope someone will rescue me.

Linda.
