I am posting this here instead of a Mac section as it looks like nobody ever is there. Anyway, got the F5D9050 for a Mac G4 Desktop OSX10.4. This box says it is for Windows and a Mac, though the Mac driver was NOT on the CD nor were the Mac instructions (as the manual indicated it would be).

I was able to dl the Mac Driver, install it, and I can access my Windows router (Linksys WRT54G).

But here is the glitch.

Each time the Mac is turned on, it does not recognize the Belkin USB Wireless router. All I need to do is take the adapter out of the cradle, plug it back immediately, and the router is found and everything works fine until the computer is turned off or restarted. Then I need to repeat this.

It sounds to me like some driver is not being loaded at startup, as if the Mac knows the USB is there but is not listening until i force a connection. There was only one driver on the Belkin site, so I don't see any other alternatives for it.

Any advice or possibly leading me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks-

Michael
