just bought one of these fancy routers and got
it all set up. what i noticed, though, is a
5 to 8 second delay before wireless information
starts to hit my powerbook 10.4.8.
wired pc works fine. remote mac with usb dongle
works fine. just not the powerbook.
belkin had me set a dmz to the ip address of
the mac. they also had me turn off the
router's firewall and some other fancy features.
no luck.
any ideas?
ps, just to check, i put the airport extreme,
inline and switched back and fourth between the two
networks, after clearing the cache.
