Hello,

I have a verizon connection-modem/router to main level of my home and since I have couple of machines in my basement, I have an additional router(LinkSyS) hardwired from the Verizon router. Now my question is...
When i type in the (after verifying I am really attached to linksys router) admin URL i.e, 192.168.1.1, it is hitting the verizons router and I am puzzled as to how to manage/administer the LINKSYS router now, which URL should I use to hit the LINKSYS router? am i doing something wrong here?

Many thanks in advance!

unplug the old router and login into the new one and change the ip from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.0.1 and apply & reconnect the other router now one will be 192.168.1.1 & the other 192.168.0.1 job done...
