I’m in the process of setting up a wireless
network, for the end result to be able to remote
desktop to a stationary PC from a tablet PC
while roaming between access points. So far I have
purchased 4 Netgear WG302 Access points configured
all with the same SSID on different channels
plugged into an 8 port switch. From what I have
read I should be able to roam between access
points and not loose signal and the laptop should
connect to the access point with the highest
signal automatically.
This isn't happening, it doesn't seem to want to
jump to the next access point it wants to stay
connected to the first one it connects to.
Is there anything i am doing wrong? Are there
any other settings on the Access Points that I
should be looking at?
I would really appreciate any help.
