The interface of Active Query Builder for Delphi is similar to either MS-Access or SQL Server visual query construction interface, but is much more powerful compared to other similar components. The unique features of Active Query Builder for Delphi such as the ability to build queries with unions and sub-queries make it the best solution for professional developers. Active Query Builder supports Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access, MySQL, PostgreSQL, InterBase, Firebird, Informix, Sybase, SQLite, and ANSI-92 SQL dialects. The sophisticated SQL parser with full Unicode support can translate any valid SQL statement into it's visual representation. You can use full range of database connectivity components as well as generic event-driven metadata provider to get metadata information from any data source. Active Query Builder gives you full control over the SQL query - you can easily navigate it using the internal query builder objects. Using Active Query Builder you'll be able to retrieve various information about parsed query like lists of tables and fields used in the query. Working with parameters in Active Query Builder, you may know their names and data types, and discover to what database objects and fields they are related to. Using the Active SQL Query Builder you can customize SQL code the way you like it. There are two editions available: the Standard Edition and the Free Edition. The Free Edition is fully functional, but supports only the ANSI-92 SQL dialect. |
