Hello there,

Im trying to conenct a laptop to our works network via a wireless AP. Now The AP is a 3com 8700 and the wireless card in the laptop is a DELL Truemobile 1400. Now I've tried a 3com card in the laptop and it works fine. I'm just having trouble with the Truemobile card. Its running 802.11a and the log on the access point keeps coming up with 'Invalid frame length'. I think its an authentication problem but its really got me stumped. Theres no encryption on the AP either.

Any help would be greatly appriciated, as I really need to get the DELL cards working on 802.11a.

Thanks in advance!
