hey, as i'm sure you can see i'm a new member, so G'day to you all from Australia. What i was wondering is a bit of feedback on a proposed idea of mine. I have a LAN with my neighbour via Cat5E cable, which goes from his house to mine, now what we want to do is set up a wireless newtwork from our houses to another friend across town. Problem is its roughly 4.5 kilometres (direct line) to his place. Now we were thinking of getting 2 D-Link DI-624 AP (Access Points) and having one at each end. We have 2 aerials (one for each 'end', they are modified conifer TV aerials/dishes. just wanting your thoughts on if this is actually possible/achievable. all feedback very welcome and appreicated.

cheers,
Swordfish (Sorry for such a long post)
