BEIJING , CHINA -April 20, 2004 /Wi-Fi Technology News/- Avaya Inc. (NYSE:AV), a leading global provider of communications networks and services for businesses, announced the appointment of William Hua as the Country Manager for its Small and Medium Business Solutions (SMBS) group in China.

William Hua, based in Shanghai China, will be responsible for all the sales activities of SMBS in the country. William brings to the SMBS China team with rich experiences in communications industry and keen understanding of local market and customer needs, thus enabling Avaya to better serve China's small and medium businesses.

Most recently, William Hua was the General Manager of Sales & Marketing, China Region, for 3D TGNT Co., Ltd, a company providing voice, data and call centre solutions. "I am glad to be with Avaya again, and to join this new SMBS team in China, which is building great momentum in this market," said William Hua.
