Former Award Winning Producer and Virgin Mobile USA Executive Join Proteus
Washington/San Francisco -/12 Oct, 2004 - Wi-Fi Technology News/- Proteus, Inc., a leading creator and developer of mobile entertainment and a unit of Telitas US, Inc., announced the expansion of its team with the appointment of Tom Williams, director of carrier relations, and Michael Maleski, client partner. Both hires add significant marketing and production expertise as Proteus expands and increases market share.

As director of carrier relations, Mr. Williams will be responsible for further evolving and developing relationships within the mobile carrier community. He joins Proteus from Virgin Mobile where he was instrumental in formulating the initial value proposition and business plan for the U.S. launch. His responsibilities as brand director included managing the execution of radio, television, print, out-of-home, and online advertising programs. Mr. Williams brings more than a decade of experience including tenures at Bell Atlantic Mobile and Airtouch Cellular, now Verizon Wireless.

In his position as client partner at Proteus, Mr. Maleski?s primary focus will be to steward accounts and serve as lead liaison between clients and the development team. He brings more than 10 years of experience in consumer entertainment to his role, most recently as president and founder of Sea Change Development, LLC, a management and creative consulting company serving the media and telecommunications industry. Mr. Maleski also served as vice president of operations and executive producer for Base Productions, Inc. There he helped produce award-winning programming for the Discovery Channel, HBO and professional sports teams.
