Music Choice Launches Free Customized And On Demand Video Music Channels



New York, New York-/11 Nov, 2004 - Wi-Fi Technology News/- MUSIC CHOICE, the premier multi-platform music network, announced groundbreaking enhancements to its service with the launch of music videos on demand and the first customized video music channels for digital cable and broadband subscribers.

In addition, Music Choice will launch MUSIC CHOICE TV, which offers a wide selection of on-demand concerts, artist performances and interviews, and original music programs for both TV and broadband. The highly unique video-on-demand content on the MUSIC CHOICE network will be available to participating cable operators? digital cable and broadband subscribers at no additional cost.

Music labels now have an inimitable music video network to expose both their up and coming and established artists to millions of homes through television and PCs. No other network offers consumers access to such a wide variety of new and previously released music videos on demand. The MUSIC CHOICE video network includes a catalog of multi-genre music videos that is unmatched by any other video network.

The Enhanced Music Choice network includes:

- VIDEOS: Music Choice has added on demand music videos to its music network. The Music Choice music video library will include thousands of music videos in a variety of music genres - everything from today's hottest videos, to favorites dating back to the 80's and 90's. With a click of the TV remote or mouse on the "VIDEOS" button located on every digital cable and broadband MUSIC CHOICE channel, users can select from a variety of music videos listed by current artist, music genre or the Music Choice Top 10. Consumers can select one video or build play lists that will play their selected videos in the order requested.

- My MUSIC CHOICE: The only customized music service for digital cable and broadband subscribers will offer made to order VIDEO and audio music channels. Utilizing video-on-demand (VOD) technology, My MUSIC CHOICE enables its viewers to customize music channels quickly and easily by using their television remote to scroll through a few simple television screens that prompt them to choose the types of music by genre and sub-genre, set the mix of their channel, and enter the name for their custom channel. The service launched earlier this year in one cable system with customized, audio-only channels. An independent phone survey, conducted by ICT, found that 64% of households with My MUSIC CHOICE set-up customized channels. An astonishing 22% of those households use the service daily, and over 50% use the service twice a week or more.

- MUSIC CHOICE TV: An extensive selection of concerts featuring everything from today?s hottest acts to recording legends, exclusive artist performances filmed at the Music Choice studios, raw and uncut artist interviews, and original music programs/shows produced by record labels will be available by selecting the MUSIC CHOICE TV button on any of the dozens of Music Choice channels available on television. These shows will also be available on broadband.

- Video Ads: Video ads will be available on both the MUSIC CHOICE television network and broadband services. This new offering compliments the highly successful static ads that are currently available on the MC network. Brands can now work with Music Choice to develop and launch multi-media, audio and video advertising campaigns that can reach highly targeted audiences.
