BT is offering new and existing BT Mobile business customers the chance to experience BT Openzone wireless broadband for just ?1 a month*.
UK-/25 Nov, 2004 - Wi-Fi Technology News/-Further to last week?s launch of its BT Mobile service to corporates, BT is encouraging its business mobile customers to become truly mobile in the way they work and live, by also experiencing the benefits of wireless broadband technology when out of the office.
The low price of ?1 a month for up to 500 minutes of access to BT Openzone public wireless broadband is an introductory discount on a new BT Openzone deal available to new and current BT Mobile business customers.
Chris Clark, CEO of BT Wireless Broadband, said: ?Our business mobile customers are realising the need of being able to work anywhere, any time. At BT, we are continually looking at ways to offer our customers a completely flexible way of working and living. Being able to take advantage of the benefits of both the broadband connection speeds of Wi-Fi technology and the mobile phone network gives business workers comprehensive mobile access when they?re out of the office.
?BT Openzone customers now have access to over 20,000 hotspots globally. By specifically tailoring a wireless broadband package for our business mobile customers, we are reconfirming BT?s commitment to fuelling the growth of the Wi-Fi market and broadening the appeal of the technology. This is certainly a step towards providing customers with truly converged services.?
BT Mobile business customers can sign up to the deal before December 31, 2004 to gain access to BT Openzone for up to 500 minutes for just ?1 a month.
