UK & Ireland market growth leads to personnel expansion at the ECT Limited

UK & Ireland market growth leads to personnel expansion at the ECT Limited

British subsidiary of the European Computer Telecoms Group (ECT) adds two more sales executives to its team

London-/26 Nov, 2004 - Wi-Fi Technology News/- In the wake of its ongoing growth in the market, the European Computer Telecoms Ltd., an ECT Group subsidiary, has added two sales executives to its London-based local sales team, which covers the British and Irish telecommunications markets. Erika Hed and Fredrik Borestr?m join the ECT Group?s sales and service branch, which works for an impressive list of customers in the UK and Irish markets, including BT Global Services, Tele2, Telewest and Alpha Telecom.

"We are very happy that we have Erika and Fredrik in our team, helping us to expand our sales activities in the UK and Ireland in a very short time. Due to their excellent skills I?m more than confident that they will make a huge contribution to our success in these markets," said Chris Foxell, President of Sales for the UK and Ireland.

Erika Hed joins the ECT Group following a distinguished university career that saw her earn a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Link?ping in Sweden. In addition to English, Hed speaks three languages, has gained international experience after writing her Masters thesis on site in South China and spending parts of her schooling in Singapore and the United States. That background is one reason why the ECT Group appealed to Hed, and vice versa. "Being an international organisation, the ECT Group will stimulate my development both as a professional and as a person," said Hed.

The UK office?s other new addition, Fredrik Borestr?m, joins the ECT Group after working for Metronome Film & Television AB, where he worked with business development and international format sales. Before joining Metronome, Borestr?m earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Business from the University of Sk?vde. Like his new colleague, Erika Hed, Borestr?m is used to working internationally, which is also reflected in his strong language skills (Swedish, English and French).

"I am convinced that I can contribute to the ECT Group?s success, growth, and development as a whole and specifically here in the British and Irish telecommunications markets," said Borestr?m.
