MOBILE PHONE CONTENT PIONEER PROTEUS, INC. TO ADDRESS TELEVISION INDUSTRY AT NATPE CONVENTION



WASHINGTON/SAN FRANCISCO-/20 Dec, 2004 - The Wi-Fi Technology Forum/- Proteus, Inc., a leading creator and developer of mobile entertainment and a unit of Telitas US, Inc., today announced that Craig Shapiro, vice president, business development, will be one of the featured panelists during the 42nd Annual NATPE Conference & Exhibition (National Association of Television Program Executives) — the global television industry’s largest and most prestigious convention. Mr. Shapiro will speak at the "Programmer’s Guide to Profiting from Premium Messaging, SMS and the Mobile Internet" session, to be held at the Mandalay Bay convention center in Las Vegas, Nevada beginning at 3:00 p.m. PT on January 24, 2005.
The panel will focus on how integrating premium mobile messaging services with TV programming can enhance viewer loyalty and create new sources of advertising, brand building, and sponsorship revenue. In addition, the session will examine how text messaging has influenced reality programming and game shows, creating an instant link between on-screen personalities and viewers.
