CommunicAsia2005 Singapore Expo Featuring Prominent Conference Speakers



An enhanced line-up of events and prominent conference speakers take CommunicAsia to a higher plane

-/3 Feb, 2005 - The Wi-Fi Technology Forum/- CommunicAsia returns to the Singapore Expo from June 14-17 this year with landmark events graced by the most influential people in the Information Communications Technology (ICT) world who will stimulate thought leadership, set industry directions, and empower companies to embark on new business deals.

High profile top level executives from France Telecom, Telekom Malaysia, Motorola, Lehman Brothers, UTStarcom, Lucent Technologies, Microsoft, and many other ICT corporations will share their knowledge and insights at CommunicAsia Summit, the conference arm of the four-day show.

In addition to the exciting line-up of conference speakers, visitors to the show can also look forward to seeing the latest innovations from world players who have committed to the show including UTStarcomm, Motorola, Panasonic, Sony Ericsson, Huawei Technologies and ZTE Corporation, who join other large players including Intelsat, LG Electronics, Lucent Technologies, Polycom, Samsung, Shin Satellite, Siemens and Telekom Malaysia, Worldsat among others.

What’s in store at CommunicAsia2005 Summit?
CEO Perspectives is the high-powered daily plenary anchoring CommunicAsia Summit, featuring armchair discussions with top Asian industry leaders. Titled tongue-in-cheek as ‘Coffee with The Boss’, CEO Perspectives will offer insights into how convergence is taking shape in the form of today’s mobile lifestyles, the impact and implications of VoIP & mobile VoIP on fixed line operators, and provide a no-holds-barred 3G reality check.

The Summit’s signature technology sessions continue to be one of the most highly anticipated events for the industry. Amongst the new tracks lined up for this year is Mobile Entertainment & Digital Lifestyles. Find out how 3G technology is translating itself successfully into new consumer and business revenue opportunities. Ovum, one the world’s leading research and consultancy firms for the ICT industry, also comes on board as a new co-presenter. They will partner the organisers to put together a session on Broadband.

Establish Sales Leads Even Before CommunicAsia Takes Place

As technology continues aid business efficiency, the event organiser has introduced a new online business matching programme that allows companies to source for new technologies before the show begins.

With the CommunicAsia Online Business Matching programme, exhibitors can utilise the programme to promote their products, services and company profiles. The programme will help generate sales leads for exhibitors even prior to the show by matching their products and services with potential buyers. Exhibitors can also use it to do research leading to CommunicAsia, schedule meetings at the exhibition and communicate with potential business partners. This programme will continue for three months after the event, giving exhibitors even more mileage for their investment in CommunicAsia.
