Slovene mobile operator Mobitel presents its services at 3GSM World Congress



Ljubljana, -/12 Feb, 2005 - Wi-Fi Technology News/- Leading Slovene mobile operator Mobitel presents its services for the first time at 3GSM World Congress, 14 to 17 February 2005, Cannes. The main focus of Mobitel?s exhibition at the global mobile industry?s leading event is the company?s very successful mobile portal Planet.

Mobitel will present itself at the mobile telecommunications leading event, 3GSM World Congress 2005, which takes place from 14 to 17 February in Cannes, France.

At its exhibition stand in Cannes Mobitel will exhibit its mobile multimedia portal Planet, which is a complete end-to-end solution. Mobitel team has already sold the mobile portal to Telecom Serbia, and several agreements with other mobile operators are underway.


The Planet portal was introduced among the first in the world in 2003. So far it has been visited by 45 % of Mobitel users, which places it among the most successful portals globally. At Cannes Mobitel will demonstrate the comparative advantages of the Planet solution, including its fast network integration, modular composition which supports upgrades, UMTS compatibility, as well as consultancy, knowledge transfer, and the proven success of the portal in one of the most advanced mobile communications markets in the world. Mobitel guarantees to its partners the complete service, including implementation and maintenance of the mobile portal technological solution, as well as the provision of the contents and services, including advising in the selection, and elaboration of the content, and marketing. All of this to be provided on the basis of Mobitel?s many years of experience in development and marketing of value added services.
