Swedish Company Ikivo AB Signes Distribution Agreement With Infineon
Stockholm, Sweden, -/9 March, 2005 - Wi-Fi Technology News/- The Swedish software company Ikivo AB (former Zoomon Mobile Solutions AB) has signed a licence and distribution agreement with Infineon Technologies, the world's forth-largest semiconductor manufacturer. Under the licence and distribution agreement, Ikivo's Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) Player will be provided for Infineon's chipsets and the APOXI application framework.
"The announcement of the cooperation with Infineon provides a valuable extension of the existing sales channels for our products. The cooperation will allow customers to purchase our technology integrated in Infineon's framework solution, hence further reducing implementation time and project risks" said Stefan Elmstedt, CEO of Ikivo.
The Ikivo SVG Player is the market leading solution for mass-market mobile phones that enable a richer media experience based on Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG). With the Ikivo SVG Player solution, mobile phones are enabled for advanced services such as handset personalisation, mobile browsing, screensavers, themes & mobile UI design based on SVG Tiny (W3C).
APOXI? (Application Programming Object-Oriented Extendable Interface) application framework facilitates the reuse of applications over several product generations.
