    Yahoo!'s Steve Boom To Deliver Keynote Moving Beyond The Desktop At CONNECTIONS?



    Yahoo!'s Steve Boom to address extension of the PC and the Internet at CONNECTIONS?: The Digital Home Conference and Showcase

    Dallas, TX -/20 April, 2005 - Wi-Fi Technology Forum/- CONNECTIONS?: The Digital Home Conference and Showcase will examine the role of the Internet beyond the personal computer with the keynote address on Thursday, May 12, from Yahoo! Inc.'s Steve Boom.

    Boom, senior vice president of broadband access and bundled services for Yahoo!, will deliver the keynote Moving beyond the Desktop on Thursday, May 12, at 4:45 p.m. CONNECTIONS?: The Digital Home Conference and Showcase, produced by Parks Associates in partnership with the Consumer Electronics Association, will take place May 11-13, 2005, at the Hyatt Regency near the San Francisco Airport in Burlingame, Calif.

    "I am very pleased to have the opportunity to speak at CONNECTIONS, about the emerging Digital Home business as seen through the Yahoo! lens," Boom said. "Today's world is moving from mass media to personal media - a world in which the consumer is the programmer - and Yahoo! is focused on creating compelling new experiences to help issue in the next phase of the Internet."
