D-Link Launches New AirPremier AG wireless Router, Adapter and PCI Card
With the launch of three updated products in the wireless AirPremierAG range, D-Link introduces its customers to a new experience of data transfer times, 15x faster than ever before
London,-/June 10, 2005 - Wi-Fi Technology News/-D-Link has announced the launch of the new AirPremier AG wireless router, CardBus adapter and PCI card. These products are based on the simultaneous dual wireless network standards 802.11g and 802.11a, offering data transfer speeds up to 15 times faster compared to the 802.11b standard.
The D-Link AirPremier AG DI-784 wireless router features a four-port switch, and is a tri-mode, dualband device that provides the widest and most flexible bandwidth coverage available in a router. A small office can be networked easily whilst maintaining backward compatibility on 2.4Ghz 802.11b/g, and simultaneously deploy 5Ghz 802.11a clients to transfer data at speeds up to 15 times faster than 802.11b wireless devices. With inbuilt security functionality, backward compatibility and use of advanced wireless technology, the DI-784 is the perfect choice for better performance.
The D-Link AirPremier AG DWL-AG660 wireless CardBus adapter and the D-Link AirPremier AG DWL-AG530 wireless PCI card are high-performance, versatile PC/notebook networking solutions for companies that need to quickly expand or reconfigure their wireless networks as their organization grows. The tri-mode, dualband network adapter and PCI card insert into the PC/notebook to provide a versatile way to wirelessly connect to any one of three available wireless networks: 802.11b and the newer, faster 802.11g and 802.11a that operate in two discrete, non-interfering frequency bands, 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
“D-Link is proud to be a key driver in the evolution of wireless networking. We never stand still but constantly thrive to develop and provide products to the market integrating the latest technology standards,” says Balvinder Singh Phull, Marketing Communications Manager D-Link UK and Ireland .
