Reselling partners line up to support new communications offering

Vocera announced they will be represented in-country by a stellar lineup of reselling partners.
The Vocera Communications System, which has been available in the United States since 2002, enables mission-critical mobile workers within buildings or campuses to instantly communicate with one another using wearable Vocera Communications Badges. The system provides hands free calling that is set up via voice commands. Targeting hospital, retail, hospitality, and other enterprise environments, the Vocera System combines the leading-edge technologies of wireless LAN, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), and speech recognition to allow instant communication.

The Vocera System Software 3.1 being announced today has been adapted to seamlessly interface with existing U.K. systems, such as PBX or message alert systems, including nurse call systems. The system incorporates Nuance Communications? U.K. English speech recognition model.
The Vocera System was implemented at Taw Hill Medical Practice, one of the most technologically advanced medical practices in the United Kingdom, in 2004.
