TelePlus Reports 10.5 Percent Increase in Handset Sales for July
MONTREAL, -/August 3, 2005 - Wi-Fi Technology News/- TelePlus Enterprises, Inc. (OTCBB:TLPE), a vertically integrated provider of wireless and landline communications products and services across North America, announced that its subsidiary TelePlus Retail Services, Inc. (``TelePlus Retail'') reported an increase of 10.5% in wireless handset sales for July compared to the same period a year ago.
Total number of wireless handset sales reached 2,944 compared to 2,664 handsets for the same month last year.
"July was a good month in terms of wireless activations as our core business continues to deliver double digit growth," stated company President & COO Kelly McLaren. "With 'back to school' upon us, we anticipate our growth to continue in August and September," added McLaren.
