Following Free Beta Test Which Resulted in Thousands of Registered Users, Wi-Fi TV's Live Global TV to Cost 99 Cents Per Month
New Pay to View Revenue Plan Allows Access to 235 Channels Plus Additional Content and Features
NEWPORT BEACH, CA -/September 23, 2005 - Wi-Fi Technology News/- Wi-Fi TV Inc. (OTC: WTVN) announced it is nearing the end of a successful free beta test that generated thousands of registered users from multiple countries on its website and will soon be implementing a 99 cent per month membership fee that will allow unlimited access to 235 live TV channels and additional content and features.
"Now that Wi-Fi TV has a leading destination on the Internet for TV channels and is adding many proprietary features, we are ready to charge a very reasonable fee for our service, as well as increase advertising and sponsorship opportunities. For under a buck a month, users get One-Page, One-Click(TM) access to a wide array of live TV and on-demand video content, including news, music, movies, finance and other categories. Wi-Fi TV members will also get a discount on premium channels and on-demand pay-per-view content," said Alex Kanakaris, Chairman, Wi-Fi TV Inc.
Wi-Fi TV Inc. plans to implement the paid subscription service within 30 days, and will offer a 30-day free trial promotion to both new subscribers and current registered users. The 99 cent a month rate is available with a one-year prepaid subscription commitment that commences at the end of the 30-day free trial. Wi-Fi TV Inc. intends to continue to offer its service on a global scale with multiple secure payment options.
The free 30-day trial offer will be included in a mass opt-in email campaign being implemented in conjunction with ICM/Beryl's World.
