Glenayre’s Versera Video Mail Achieves Nortel UMTS Interoperability Certification



Now Nortel infrastructure users can quickly deploy revenue-driving video telephony services

ATLANTA-/February 3, 2006 - Wi-Fi Technology News/-Glenayre Messaging, a division of Glenayre Technologies, Inc. This certification was achieved using Nortel 3G UMTS Network (UMTS04/NSS18) infrastructure equipment in Nortel’s Wireless Interoperability Labs in Richardson, Texas.

Nortel IOT Certification means carriers using Nortel’s UMTS network infrastructure can look to Glenayre when considering offering circuit-switched video telephony solutions to subscribers. Video telephony offerings such as Versera Video Mail provide carriers with increased subscriber revenue opportunities by terminating unanswered calls.
