D-Link Begins Its Partner+ Programme In The UK And Eire
Partners encouraged to outflank major switching competitors with extra resources and new solutions
LONDON -/February 16, 2006 - Wi-Fi Technology News/- D-Link, the leading provider of networking and communication solutions to the consumer, SMB and enterprise markets, officially begins its Partner+ programme in the UK and Eire with the aim of supporting increased market penetration for its high-end xStack switching, AirPremier business wireless products and NetDefend firewall portfolios.
Resellers joining the new programme will benefit from increased levels of sales support, bid desk support, marketing funding, technology-specific training and certification, and access to an unprecedented online resource of sales tools and information.
Unlike the programmes of competitor vendors, D-Link’s Partner+ follows an untiered structure designed to recognise partners according to their competence. This is intended to support those partners that have the greatest expertise and can therefore offer the best service and derive the greatest loyalty from end-customers.
“The quality and commitment of our channel partners is of paramount importance to D-Link’s continuing success, and we fully intend to support and reward them,” said Mats Brager, Northern European Area Manager, D-Link Europe. “This programme is clearly defined to focus on market areas that will offer partners the greatest opportunities for growth, both in terms of revenue and profits for the future, specifically focusing on managed switching, business wireless and security solutions.”
To coincide with the official start of Partner+ in the UK and Eire, D-Link has launched its comprehensive Partner Extranet at http://www.dlinkpartnerplus.com/uk/. The Partner+ site contains extensive reference materials and sales tools including early product launch information, promotions, training calendars, product feature updates and bespoke marketing collateral such as solution briefs, competitive analyses and product application notes.
