Wifi-soft Releases New Version of Wi-Fi hotspots Management Software



Austin, Texas, -/April 10, 2006 - Wi-Fi Technology News/- Wifi-soft Solutions, a leading developer of Operational Support System (OSS) software for Wi-Fi announced availability of much anticipated WiFiLAN version 1.1. The new version offers customers a hassle-free, hosted Wi-Fi hotspot management solution with pay-as-you-go payment structure. For a limited time, Wifi-soft is offering the basic subscription of WiFiLAN free to its new customers.


WiFiLAN v1.1 gives Wi-Fi hotspot operators and service providers total control over their remote Wi-Fi hotspots and allows them to manage distributed hotspots using a single, web-based management application. WiFiLAN requires no extra hardware or software since the back-office services are hosted on remote servers in a state-of-the-art data center. The management solution is device agnostic and supports wide range of Wi-Fi access points and gateway available in the market.

WiFiLAN v1.1 comes with several enhancements over the previous version such as branded portals, Authorize.Net billing support, customer self care, integrated problem ticket management, new reports, enhanced GUI and more. The Beta version has been operational for past several months and is currently managing hundreds of hotspots and tens of thousands of subscribers all over the world.

WiFiLAN monthly subscriptions are available in three different options - Basic, Professional and Premium. A limited, basic subscription is available free for new customers for a limited time. Both Basic and Professional subscriptions come with a standard base price and customers have option to purchase add-on modules depending on their requirements. The Premium subscription comes will all supported features for a flat monthly fee for each hotspot.
