EUGENE, OR -/May 3, 2006 - Wi-Fi Technology News/- EDX Wireless, a worldwide leader of wireless network design tools, announced two new appointments to its management team. These new appointments align with EDX's strategic plan for continued growth and leadership in the wireless planning tools marketplace.

EDX has provided RF propagation prediction tools for more than 21 years, and has recently developed new tools to help network operators reduce their costs for customer acquisition and retention. These new tools, SignalShare(TM) and SignalProof(TM), complement EDX's proven carrier-class planning tool, EDX SignalPro(R), and equate to strong growth potential for EDX.

Bob Shaw was appointed Director of Sales and holds day-to-day responsibility for all sales activities. Mr. Shaw, a twenty-year veteran of the wireless industry, brings a wealth of experience to EDX, including expertise in wireless broadband. In his recent role as Executive Director of Sales & Marketing at Wytec, Inc., Mr. Shaw achieved sales in excess of $400 million for the company's LMDS equipment. Other leading technology companies where Mr. Shaw built his experience include Boeing, GTE Government Systems, Signal Science, and Steinbrecher Corporation, also serving as manufacturer's representative to technology providers SirF and Lucent Technologies.

"Bob Shaw brings knowledge and experience that will greatly enhance our opportunity," stated Paul Rathgeb, CEO of EDX. "He is a great addition to a great team."

In complement, Jennifer Duncan has been appointed to the key position of Executive Director, Business Development and Strategy. Ms. Duncan, an eleven-year veteran of EDX, will build upon EDX's strength in Metropolitan Area Networks, such as WiMAX and Wi-Fi, and expand the company's presence in other areas. "Jennifer has contributed much to EDX in a variety of important roles. I am confident that her continued contribution will help to carry us forward to even greater success," commented Mr. Rathgeb.

Dr. Dietze's background includes research and development of 3G wireless systems as well as impulse UWB and OFDM based wireless LANs. Additionally he has performed in-depth, academic studies on adaptive antenna arrays, diversity and MIMO systems. His background and skills add to EDX's high level of expertise and ensure its continuing leadership in RF planning tool
    innovation.
