Salisbury, Massachusetts - July 2, 2003 - Signull Technologies, a Massachusetts wireless technology company, announced today that it has released it's WiFi hotspot billing service. SigNet is a service which hotspot owners may subscribe to, enabling them to deploy a WiFi hotspot which bills and manages users. The service may also be configured as a free system with registered users, with time limits or not.
The SigNet service is comprised of a compact mini-PC or rack mount gateway server which processes credit card and user account information. Providing hotspot owners with a low cost turn-key solution for managing hotspot users and billing.
"With hotspot access on the increase, this product empowers their owners. It enables them to offer high speed wireless access to its patrons at a small price. It can be used anywhere from coffee shops, hotels or a building lobby. Anywhere there is an active hotspot." said Thomas Grondine, Vice President of Signull.
