D-Link To Launch Wi-Fi 802.11n USB Adapter in Europe By June 06
The new USB adapter is part of D-Link’s draft 802.11n range of products, expected to launch in Europe in June
London, -/May 9, 2006 - Wi-Fi Technology News/- D-Link, the end-to-end networking solutions provider for consumers and business, announces to further strengthen their Rangebooster N range of products by adding a high performance USB 2.0 adapter for notebooks and desktop PC’s.
As with the entire range, the wireless USB adapter follows the IEEE draft 802.11n standard and is compatible with existing 802.11b/g devices. The wireless USB adapter DWA-142 features a new sleek design utilising concealed multiple smart antennas.
D-Link differentiates its range by offering proven technologies including StreamEngine providing dynamic QoS prioritising voice traffic or user-configured applications, as well as D-Link Click n’ Connect easy configuration utility, which have proven to be a great success in similar routers recently launched.
D-Link will bring its Draft 11n range to market in early June, following the release of the US version in mid May. The range will feature the following products and their average retail pricing:
