    Cipherium Announces RoHS Compliance

-/August 18, 2006 - Wi-Fi Technology News/-Cipherium announces all its wireless security and service management products are now available as RoHS compliant. Cipherium is committed to meeting the requirements of the European Union's 2002/95/EC directive on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS directive), and acting responsively to cooperate with its hardware manufactures on ensuring a lead-free production process.

The RoHS directive bars the following substances in the production process: cadmium, lead, mercury, chromium VI, PBB, and PBDE. The directive aims at promoting lead-free components and at banning toxic flame-retardants for the sake of alternative, environmental-friendly products.

"Now we are pleased to announce that most of our products are manufactured in compliance with RoHS," said Joseph Lin, President of Cipherium. "As a company we are committed to producing the products that not only meet the rigorous standards of the wireless technology industry, but also the products that are environmentally friendly."
