Wireless Solutions Provider Zinwave Appoints New Chairman
Cambridge-/March 12, 2007 - Wi-Fi Technology News/- Zinwave, the developer of active in-building wireless coverage solutions, has appointed Jonathan Paget as the company?s new Chairman. With over 20 years of experience in the worldwide telecommunications industry, Jonathan will support Zinwave as the company continues to gain new customers throughout the world.

The new product family is very exciting; it combines proprietary optical fiber technology and novel architecture to produce a uniquely flexible and economic solution. Recently Zinwave has launched its 2700 family of active Distributed Antenna Systems. The system is capable of distributing a broad range of services from UHF and broadcast through PMR, cellular to WiFi broadband data independent of optical medium. This enables use of the very large installed base of multi-mode fiber in today?s in-building data networks, bringing significant economic advantages.

The Board of Zinwave expressed its appreciation and gratitude to David for his leadership role since the beginning and welcomes his continued involvement with company as a non-executive director.
Most recently, Jonathan held the role of COO at Airspan Networks, having previously been CEO of Telspec plc and before then he held various general management positions in Motorola and Raychem Corporation. He has an MA in Engineering Science from Cambridge University.
