    BVS Releases WiMAX Filtering Software

    BVS Releases WiMAX Filtering Software

METUCHEN, New Jersey. -/March 16, 2007 - Wi-Fi Technology News/-Berkeley Varitronics Systems, Inc, the leader in handheld wireless test tools, releases powerful filtering software for 40 Lambda data generation in WiMAX networks.

Sieve? is a Windows XP? application that generates 40 Lambda averaged data that was collected from Berkeley?s Gator stimulus Class A transmitter and Coyote modular receiver combination. The transmitter/receiver/software package is being distributed to WiMAX engineers, technicians and installers interested in optimizing their 2.5 and 3.4 GHz networks. Sieve? is able to generate 40 Lambda averaged data into ASCII files through high-speed, two-stage filtering of redundant data.

This data is received on one or two different Coyote? receiver modules that may be swapped out while still in the field. In addition, the software also allows creation of KML files to map measured data onto programs such as GoogleEarth. When combined with powerful BVS transmitter and receiver combos, Sieve? filtering software provides the best averaging options and reliability analysis in its class. Available now as standalone software or through Berkeley?s WiMAX Combo Offer.
