Agreement extends Trustive's Wi-Fi Network in the US and Europe

-/Wi-Fi Technology News/-Trustive, Europe's leading wireless Wi-Fi hotspot access provider, today announced that it has signed an in-bound roaming agreement with Wayport, an international leader in the design and integration of applications and software over wired and wireless carrier-grade networks.

The agreement allows Trustive's retail customers to access more than 1,000 Wayport hotspots across the US and 250 hotspots in EMEA. These locations include major airports and hotels, including brands such as Marriott, Sheraton and Radisson SAS. The agreement also means Trustive can now offer wholesale customers access to an extended hotspot network.

Trustive offers seamless Wi-Fi hotspot access to people on the move through a unified global network of hotspots. The Trustive network now covers more than 22,000 live hotspots located at some of the prime locations across Europe and the US, including coverage at all major European airports.

Gavin Dresselhuis, co-founder and managing director of Trustive, said: "We are very pleased to be working with Wayport. According to recent research carried out by Trustive(1), the top three locations where people use wireless Internet access are hotels, cafes and airports. We continue to meet end-user demand for seamless connection at these prime locations all over the world."
"This agreement reconfirms the commitment we have made to our neutral-host strategy, which opens up our network to key industry players around the world to continually foster the adoption of Wi-Fi and in turn drive the maximum number of customers to our partner locations," said Dave Vucina, CEO for Wayport.
