802 Global Strengthens Expansion Plans By Appointing Partner Manager For Ireland

-/Wi-Fi Technology News/- 802 Global, the UK’s leading provider of wireless solutions, further strengthened its expansion plans with the appointment of a new partner manager for Ireland. Based in Dublin, Gavin Duffy joins 802 Global to support and develop the distributor’s growing network of reseller partners across the country.

Duffy joins 802 Global from EPS, where he was Global Sales Manager. In this role he was responsible for development of new markets and key account management. Duffy has over ten years’ experience in the electronics and technology industry. In his new role at 802 Global he will focus on helping skilled IT resellers tap into new market opportunities around wireless and IP CCTV. Duffy’s appointment is the latest advance in 802 Global’s recently announced expansion plans following a one million pound capital investment in the company by the former deputy chairman of ADT and business entrepreneur David Hammond.

Commenting on the appointment, Tim Close, Managing Director at 802 Global says, “We are delighted to have someone with the experience and skills of Gavin Duffy to strengthen our presence in Ireland. We see a great market opportunity for IT and security resellers around our wireless infrastructure and IP CCTV solutions, across many application and technology areas from server to storage, security to networking.”
