Wireless Hackers Converge in Dallas

DallasCon Information Security and Cyber-terrorism Conference 2003

The second annual DallasCon Information Security and Cyber-terrorism Conference, which will be held in Plano, Texas on May 22-25, promises to be one of the most innovative and informative information security conferences ever to be organized in Dallas. Participants can expect a variety of academic and leading edge presentations covering a host of topics related to the subject of information security, with an emphasis on wireless security.

The Conference will start on May 22 and 23, 2003 with the Information Security Boot Camp geared for industry professionals. The Boot Camp will comprise of lectures and intense practical sessions covering such topics as Reconnaissance and Hacking, Cyber-terrorism, Wireless hacking, Setting up Secure Wireless Networks, 802.11 Standards and Issues, War Driving and others. All pre-registered attendees to the Boot Camp will also receive a free DallasCon T-shirt.

The last 2 days of the conference (May 24-25) will be dedicated to a host of academic seminars and presentations given by leading industry experts and authors in the field of Wireless Security. These sessions are geared for the general public and vary in topics from basic wireless security to detailed technical information about potential risks and upcoming threats and trends.
