Avaya SYSTIMAX® Structured Cabling Solutions named the most popular cabling products in India's networking industry for 2002-03

NEW DELHI , INDIA - Avaya Inc. (NYSE:AV), a leading global provider of communications networks and services for businesses, today announced that it has been named 'Top Structured Cabling Vendor of the Year' of India by Voice & Data, the leading convergence communications magazine in India.
The magazine recognised Avaya as the biggest supplier of structured cabling products in the Indian networking industry for 2002-03 after tabulating the results of its annual survey of India's telecom and networking industries.
This comprehensive survey, which gauges market trends and consumer preferences and purchasing patterns, concluded that Avaya's SYSTIMAX® solutions were perceived by the industry as technically superior and the most reliable for an entire spectrum of applications.
Prasanna Kumar V, country manager for Avaya's Connectivity Solutions, India & SAARC, received the award on behalf of Avaya during the award ceremony on the August 6 in New Delhi.
