DallasCon releases details of its "Network & Wireless Security" workshops

Dallas, Texas, February 10, 2004 /Wi-Fi Technology News/- Following the success of their 3-day January seminars, organizers of the annual Dallascon Security Conference have today announced details of the next set of Network Security Training seminars to be held in April 2004, just before their annual conference.

The second set of security seminars is to be held on April 27 ? 30, 2004 at the nationally recognized MicroTek training facilities in Dallas.

Due to high demand for both Network security related as well as wireless security training, organizers have dedicated 2 full days of training to each area with a strong emphasis on hand-on labs.

The first 2 days (April 27-28) of the workshops is focused on a course about Hacking Web Applications with integrated hands on lab sessions.

The second 2 days (April 29-30) is geared towards providing a comprehensive course on Wireless Network Penetration and Testing. As with the first 2 days, numerous hands on sessions will be on offer to familiarize participants with the concepts covered in class.

All workstations, network equipment, and all required software will be provided for the seminar; however, to take full advantage of Wireless Security class on April 29-30, students are strongly encouraged to bring their own laptop equipped with a wireless network card.
