European companies show massive support for CommunicAsia2004 Tradeshow
CommunicAsia ?March 8, 2004 /Wi-Fi Technology News/- the flagship telecommunications exhibition for Asia ? is already attracting world wide interest with more than 40 countries represented as the show prepares to re-establish itself as a major global telecoms event.
This will be the 15th CommunicAsia and the exhibition looks set to make a real impact following last year?s postponement due to the SARS outbreak in the region. European companies such as Siemens (SI) and Ericcson (ERICY) are in the forefront of organisations outside Asia which are looking to use CommunicAsia to either establish themselves in the region or strengthen their position.
?The sheer quality of the expected visitors to CommunicAsia ? and in particular this year from China ? are making companies realise that our event is the place to be, whether their ambitions lie in China or other parts of Asia,? said Alun Jones, Director, CommunicAsia.

The show has already consumed four halls at the giant Singapore Expo exhibition centre and with three months still remaining Mr Jones is confident that bookings will approach levels close to those prior to the industry slump of three years ago.
?There is a real buzz from companies at the moment,? said Mr Jones.
?Exhibitors I have spoken to are optimistic and enthusiastic for the future. CommunicAsia is an important step on this industry?s road to recovery and one which many companies in Europe have already decided to take?.
In addition to Europe, CommunicAsia2004 will house exhibitors from Australia, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Israel, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United States amongst others. Key international exhibitors at the event include Ericsson, France Telecom, Inmarsat, Intelsat, LG Electronics, NetScreen, Polycom, Samsung, Shin Satellite, Siemens, Sanyo Electric, Sony and Telephone Organization of Thailand.
