    Kevin Ryan, Industry Veteran, Joins Vivato?s Executive Management Team


    San Francisco, California ? March 17, 2004 ?/Wi-Fi Technology News/- Vivato, a wireless systems infrastructure company, announced that wireless industry veteran Kevin Ryan has been appointed vice president of marketing and business development. In this role, Ryan will assume responsibility for all aspects of marketing, including product marketing and positioning, product line management and marketing communications.



    ?Kevin will be a great addition to our new management team,? said Donald Stalter, Vivato?s CEO. ?With his industry experience and understanding of the wireless marketplace, I am confident that his leadership in marketing Vivato?s extended coverage wireless products will ensure our customers and partners receive outstanding service and value.?

    Previously, Ryan served as vice president of marketing and business development at Ensemble Communications, where he was responsible for the company?s marketing and partnering initiatives surrounding its point-to-multipoint systems for Metro Ethernet and broadband wireless access markets worldwide. During his tenure, Ryan developed and implemented product marketing and management strategies to address the growth of the mobile backhaul and broadband access markets worldwide.

    Ryan also held the position of vice president of marketing and business development at Network Photonics, an optical wavelength switching subsystem manufacturer. Prior to Network Photonics, he served as vice president of product marketing at Terawave Communications, where he was also a member of the founding team. Ryan began his career at Silicon Graphics, where he held various marketing and business development positions and was quickly promoted to the executive level.
