I am trying to do portforwarding on my dsl-604t. I use the router's internal web page, but when I click on the 'port forwarding' icon or the 'access control' icon the router stops responding. It no longer replies to pings and nor does the internet. The only way to restore the router is to switch it off and on again.

I have tried this from two different makes of computer with different network cards. One computer has windows and the other has linux. Same problem.

This router is about a year old. I did this a few months ago and it worked. Now it doesn't anymore. I have looked around the internet and my problem seems to be unique. Is the router broken? Must I buy another one?

My house is littered with networking hardware on which I spent money and of which I despaired. Am I going mad, or am I mad already?
