Hi hope this is the right forum, sorry if it's not.

I need to install some security software on my PC, and since I have no clue what to get I though I'd ask here. So, any suggestions what I should get agaisnt viruses, trojans, hackers, spam, spyware and the like?

If you want more than just a plain old anti virus kit, have a look at Symantec's Internet Security 2007. It's fresh out, I've been using it for a few days and heard many good things about it. Mostly, it does offer you the plain old anti virus kit (with a few nice not-so-old extras such a function to find rootkits), a firewall and then just many, many little things that everyone needs anyway (spam-filter, ad-filter, detects and removes spyware, comes with a popup blocker, etc. etc.)
