hmm, I'm complete beginner at networking so bear with me

I have two computers, one running Windows ME (I know....sorry) and the other running Linux. The Windows ME machine is connected to the internet via a USB modem (no ethernet port). I want to connect the two machines wirelessly.

The main priority is to share internet connection (although most wireless routers seem to require ethernt) but I would also like to network the two PC's so files can be shared.

What hardware to I need?

well As you probably know linux and windows dont like eachother verymuch.
you could get a new router (LINKSYS) and install Wirelesscards on both of the machines. You probably will need to search for linux drivers and that can be a pain. Now i know how to share things in windows its all done through Netbois but im not verygood with linux
